Rye – is a unique and very useful plant and nowadays is known as a healthy and diet product. Known for the unique properties of  its grain, rye grants health and the energy of the sun. Lysine and threonine (amino acids) were identified in its proteins, as well as vitamins of the A group – beta-carotin, that preserves  the integrity of the cellular structure, B1 -thiamine, that prevents vitamin deficiency (avitaminosis), and B2- riboflavin, that is actively involved in the protein, carbohydrate and fat metabolisms. It is impossible to assess the effect of niacin, the substance of which is supplied by vitamins B3 and PP.
